║ Galapagos with Mike Langford

I am leading an amazing photography workshops to the incredible Galapagos Islands with Mike Langford. Mike needs no presentation, he is Master Photog. III and Fellow III of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and a Fellow and Honorary Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP). He has been a professional photographer for over 30 years and an International Awards judge and lecturer for 25 years. He has been awarded Australian Geographic Photographer of the Year, NSW AIPP Photographer of the Year, twice AIPP Landscape Photographer of the Year, the NZIPP Photographer of the Year, NZIPP Corporate/Industrial Photographer of the Year and NZIPP Landscape Photographer of the Year and is the current AIPP Travel Photographer of the Year. He is also the President of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography, an EOS Master & is co director the Queenstown Centre for Creative Photography.

The Cormorant catamaran

The Cormorant is a new catamaran that was built in 2011 and incorporates the very best of Galapagos catamaran design. It is the best catamaran in the Galapagos, with modern and ample accommodation that includes a Jacuzzi, a huge sun deck and a private balcony for each of the spacious staterooms. This catamaran is for a maximum of 16 passengers. We will charter it to be able to have more flexibility to and get early to the locations at sunrise / sunset.

Who should go on this photographic tour?

All levels of photographers are welcomed. Mike and I will be providing instruction on all aspects of image capture and post processing with Lightroom, Photoshop and other editing software. Mike and I have extensive travel, wildlife and landscape photography experience and you will always be assured of personal attention and tuition.

Itinerary and Dates

The tour commences in Quito (Ecuador) on 16 October and ends in Quito on the 25 October 2015. The photography workshop has a maximum group size of 14 participants.

Most of my images are available for use with a Rights Managed license through Getty Images. However, some of my photographs are available for commercial and private use and for purchase as Fine Art prints. To give you an accurate quote to license a photograph, please send me as many details as possible regarding usage (advertising, editorial, corporate, TV&Film), size, press run, geographical distribution, exclusive/non-exclusive use etc.
